Made in the style of old school side-scrollers, "Copper" is prototyped game telling the story of good dog Detective Dick Copper keeping the streets of Curia City clean.
"Copper" was a grad school project I made in a month with Alex Cha, Daniel Petricca, Brittany Williams, and Ethan Goss. I served as co-game designer as well as art director and character artist for this project.
Inspired by Super Nintendo games and the D.A.R.E. program, players navigate a classic-style platformer slapping cigarettes out of enemy mouths and spinning bongs back at attackers. You can play Copper here.
